Twenty Valley Golf and Country Club is a member owned and operated semi private golf facility. Twenty Valley gets its name from the Twenty Mile Creek which meanders through the golf course and comes into play on several holes. With large, fast, undulating greens and lush, manicured, tree lined fairways the course offers a challenge to golfers of all skill levels.

 

 

Twenty Valley has hosted some prestigious championships over the years.  In 1988, it played host to a Canadian tour event called the TPD Championship.  In the 50th anniversary year of the club, it hosted the 2009 Ontario Senior Men's Championships and has since also hosted the 2012 Ontario Senior Women's Championships.  Twenty Valley also played host to the 2009 and 2012 OFSAA Boys Golf Championships.

 

 

The golf course has held its own over the years with competitive golfers struggling to post low scores over the challenging layout.  The current course record is held by Rick Todd.  Rick opened up the 1988 TPD Championships with a 63 which beat the previous record by one shot set the previous day by life member and Ontario Golf Hall of Fame inductee, Ken Tarling, in the pro am.

 

The score of 63 has since been matched on two occasions from the member's tees during Thursday night competition.  First in 1989 by former member and club champion, Tim Hasenack and most recently by long time member and multiple club champion, Bill Lipsett in 1997.
